For our project Kuro, a premium Pan-Asian concept, Hospitality Excellence Consultancy (HEC) focused on blending rich cultural textures with contemporary luxury to craft an immersive dining experience. Every detail in a venue should tell a story and optimize your business potential.
The founders of Kuro wanted to open a premium yet accessible Japanese-inspired café & bistro but needed a clear roadmap. They required expert guidance on realistic startup costs, revenue projections, staffing structure, kitchen layout, equipment needs, and a step-by-step plan to launch successfully without overspending or compromising quality.
We began with a detailed Profit Model to establish accurate sales targets, cost structures, labor efficiency, and funding requirements. This helped shape the menu mix and clarified what the owners could manage themselves versus areas needing external support.
We provided hands-on assistance with competitive analysis, space planning, equipment selection, kitchen workflow optimization, and menu engineering tailored to the Bangladeshi market. Throughout the process, we coached the founders on every key decision, ensuring alignment between their vision and practical operations.
Kuro successfully opened as a standout destination in Dhaka, quickly becoming a favorite for its elegant ambiance and flavorful offerings. The structured planning resulted in a smooth launch, strong initial performance, and faster profitability. The owners have since expanded their catering services and are planning a second location, all built on the strong foundation established during the project.
